Our printer utilizes environmentally safe products in every stage of their printing process including biodegradable toners and digital presses, which emit 90% less Volatile Organic Compounds.
Our card and envelope stock is 100% recycled and contains 68% post-consumer recovered fiber and is processed chlorine free. Even our matching label stock is recycled. Our custom packaging is made from recycled paper as well as our shipping boxes. MyGoodGreetings.com was created from conception with eco-friendly processes in mind every step of the way.
We use certified Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) paper, which means the wood fiber comes from well managed and responsibility harvested forests that meet strict environmental and socioeconomic standards and never from old growth timber stands or rainforests.
After careful evaluation and testing, we chose to print our cards on 95# Reincarnation Matte Cover from New Leaf Paper. This heavyweight card stock provides the perfect combination of green attributes with the high quality printability you deserve. Your customizable photo card or invitation order will be printed on archival quality, acid-free card stock for long lasting color that won’t fade.
Reincarnation Matte is manufactured with electricity that's offset with Green-e certified renewable energy certificates that go towards wind power projects. Other Green-e renewable power sources include solar, geothermal, biomass and small and low impact hydro. These sources are used to make electricity without producing greenhouse gas emissions, the leading cause of global warming.
Our packaging is eco-friendly as well. We carefully chose shipping boxes made of recycled paper, there are no land-filling plastics in our packaging- no bubble wrap ever! Our smartly designed card packaging is made from 100% recycled paper as well. And we've chosen to use the U.S. Postal Service as our delivery company since they are already coming to your home every day, to reduce unnecessary delivery emissions.
