Pimp My Card - Text Customization Tips

The online card customization tools on My Good Greetings are really easy to use and a big part of why our customers love our site. But sometimes you need to place more text or need an extra line of type on a card than the sample shows. It's still easy to create your card- no matter how much text you need. Here's some easy to follow tips for creating your custom announcement, invitation or stationery:

Step 1: For this Baby Bumblebee Baby Shower Invitaiton you'll see that after entering the RSVP line of text, the text appears to run off the sides of the card (see example 1). This is a very easy fix. Just roll your mouse over the line of text to reveal the surrounding green text box (see example 2) and click to bring up the pop-up Text Editor.

Step 2: Within the Text Editor pop-up box, you can place your cursor and hit "return" on your keyboard to move the text down to a second line. Be sure not to double space for best results. Then click the SAVE button to apply your changes to the card preview. (see example 3).

Step 3: Now you'll see that the overlapping text has been moved to two lines to fit on the card. But the spacing between the lines seems to need more space. Our online tools do not allow you to fix the space between lines of type, but you can tell us to fix it in the "Special Instructions" box on the "Preview Your Card" page. The Special Instructions box is on the right side of this page. Here you can relay any special instructions to our production department. After you place your order, we will see your Special Instructions and make any necessary adjustments to your card. We will then send you an additional proof to your email address for your review before printing your cards.

That's it! Easy peasy to customize your own birth announcements, baby shower invitations, bridal shower invitations, birthday invitations etc.
